How to make sangria with sparkling wine
Sangria is a refreshing, fruity drink that’s perfect for summer gatherings. You can make it with red or white wine, but adding sparkling wine gives it an extra bit of fizz. Here’s how to make sangria with sparkling wine:
1. Choose your wine. Red sangria is typically made with a Spanish red wine like Rioja or Tempranillo. White sangria is usually made with a white wine like Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc.
2. Add fruit. Sangria wouldn’t be sangria without fruit! Add fresh oranges, lemons, and limes to your pitcher.
3. Add a sweetener. Sangria is traditionally sweetened with sugar or simple syrup. You can also use fruit juices, like orange juice or grapeseed juice.
4. Add sparkling wine. Pour in your sparkling wine just before serving. Prosecco or Cava are both good choices.
5. Serve over ice and enjoy!.View it
