About this crossing

Updated 6 September 2026

The old site already knew the weekly trip. The name now has a job: the crossing, not a leftover syllable.

The name

Guay is 过. HK is where you start. We will not pretend this is a Shenzhen tourism board or a Hong Kong staycation blog.

What we will not invent

Today's exchange rate. A Sam's chicken price. A membership fee. A ferry timetable. Port hours that are not on the Immigration Department table.

How the site pays for itself

Some pages may link to a booking or an eSIM and earn a commission if you buy. The crossing advice does not change because of that. Plenty of pages — which port is quietest — make the site nothing.

Quick answers

Are you a travel agency?
No.
Why 过?
Because that is the job. The crossing.
Do you collect my destination filter?
No. The picker runs in the browser.

Hours, fares, and rules move. Check ImmD, C&ED, or the operator the morning you travel.
