Qianhai sits on the far western edge of Shenzhen, out past Nanshan, and treating it like a Futian day out tacks on an extra hour of metro changes you don't actually need. The store there is close enough to Shenzhen Bay that this coach can take you from a stop in Hong Kong to the Sam's Club door without you touching a mainland metro line at all.

The main operator running this route is Trans Island Limousine Service, known on its Chinese-language booking channels as 環島中港通. It's a Kwoon Chung Bus subsidiary, not some fly-by-night charter outfit, and it runs a coach straight from pickup points across Hong Kong to Qianhai's Happy Harbour and Sam's Club, crossing at Shenzhen Bay with the co-location immigration hall doing the heavy lifting.

Pickup points are spread wide: Causeway Bay (Times Square), Wan Chai, Sheung Wan and Central on the island, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok and Kowloon Bay in Kowloon, plus stops in Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, and out at the airport for anyone on Lantau. You book through the 環島中港通 WeChat mini-program, the tilchinalink.com site, or by phone. Departures run from around 7am into the evening, with something like a dozen round trips a day, more added around Christmas and Lunar New Year peaks.

Fares have moved around since launch. Early promo pricing was as low as RMB 90 return, and current listings mostly quote round trips starting from about HK$120, with the same price whether you're an adult or a child. Treat that as a starting figure rather than gospel: cross-border coach pricing shifts with promotions more often than you'd expect, so check the mini-program before you commit to a pickup time. Quoted trip length is 45 to 60 minutes each way, though riders further out (Tai Koo, say) have reported closer to 90 minutes once you count the stop-by-stop pickup loop before the border.

Qianhai is a Nanshan address, roughly 5 to 6 kilometres from the Shenzhen Bay port building. Lo Wu and Futian sit on the other side of the city entirely, which means a metro haul of 45 minutes or more just to reach Qianhai after you've already cleared immigration. Shenzhen Bay's co-location setup, where HK and mainland checks happen in one hall, is also just faster to clear than the older ports at busy times. If you'd rather cross under your own steam and save the coach fare, Shenzhen Bay still gets you there fastest. On weekends and public holidays, a free shuttle bus runs from the port's bus terminal through Qianwan and Guiwan metro stations to Wanxiang Qianhai mall and the Sam's Club entrance, operating roughly between 9:30am and 7:30 or 8pm. It's genuinely free, no ticket, and it's the easiest option if your trip lands on a Saturday.

On weekdays that shuttle doesn't run, so you're looking at either a short taxi or Didi ride from the port (the kind of distance that costs a modest fare rather than a real dent in your wallet) or the metro, which means a bus link over to Houhai station before picking up Line 11 for two stops. Neither is difficult, but neither is as painless as just staying on a coach seat until the store car park either.

However you get there, pay for the coach ticket and anything you buy inside with WeChat Pay HK or Alipay HK rather than trying your Octopus card, since Octopus doesn't work at mainland tills outside the Shenzhen Metro exception.
